Project Description.

The new Sam's Club store is 133,000 sf. and has 664 parking spaces. Due to its low lying location, the steel and concrete structure is supported by over 350 deep foundation piles.

JRT provided construction supervision for the brand new Sam's Club in the San Juan metropolitan area. The supervision scope was focused on the building's structural elements, such as: steel beams, concrete columns and foundations; installation of a concrete pile underneath the structural floor slab; HVAC ducts and equipment; installation of site lighting and interior lighting at store; and parking area base, sub-base and asphalt topping.

Permitting scope included Construction Permit, Municipal Public Work Permit and EPA Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan.
